Overview
Mongooz is an AI recruiter built and operated by Nthread Ai Private Limited (“Mongooz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It provides AI-powered hiring intelligence, candidate discovery, and recruitment tools. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information through mongooz.ai and the Mongooz product.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide and information generated when you use our services, including:
- Account and contact details, such as name, work email, company and role.
- Hiring data you upload or connect, such as job descriptions, candidate profiles and résumés.
- Usage and device data, such as log information, browser type and pages visited.
- Information from accounts you choose to connect, such as your Google account, as described under Google user data below.
How we use information
- To provide, operate and improve Mongooz, including its hiring intelligence and candidate discovery tools.
- To send, at your direction, the outreach messages you write or approve to candidates.
- To communicate with you about your account, support requests and product updates.
- To maintain security, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations.
Google user data
Mongooz lets you sign in with Google and, if you choose, connect Gmail to send outreach from your own address. This is what we receive and what we do with it:
- Sign in with Google. We receive your name, email address and basic profile information, and use them only to create your account, sign you in and keep it secure.
- Sending email. If you connect Gmail, Mongooz is given permission to send email on your behalf. We use it only to send the messages you write or approve to candidates. Mongooz does not read, change or delete the mail in your mailbox.
- What we never do. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to develop or train generalised AI or machine-learning models. People at Mongooz do not read it unless you ask us to for support, it is needed for security, or the law requires it.
Mongooz’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can withdraw Mongooz’s access at any time from the permissions page of your Google Account.
Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements, then delete or anonymise it.
Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information. To make a request, email support@nthread.io.
